COACH BRIBRI
A personal trainer & group fitness instructor with a passion to inspire and motivate people to take that step and start feeling better
“Take care of your body and your body will take care of you" is a statement that I truly believe. For years I would workout and encourage family and friends to workout with me, whether in the gym or walking in the neighborhood or track. Eventually, I became a group fitness instructor at the local gym teaching a strength training class. I loved it. I later became a certified personal trainer with NASM, certified with Les Mills to teach Body Pump (strength training) and certified with StrongbyZumba to teach STRONG (HIIT).
When the COVID lockdown occurred, I started teaching workouts from my living room on Zoom. I wanted people to stay physically active while locked down. In addition, I did a lunchtime workout on Facebook every weekday at Noon. My slogan was “get out the bed, get off the couch, push away the chair and lets get moving for 5 minutes”.
When the world opened back up, I continued to teach class on Zoom. I enjoyed seeing my clients in their Zoom squares working out, getting fit, and reaching their goals all from their comfort of their homes (or from anywhere). Later, I became certified in SH1FT, which will allow me to teach new formats, including MIND, which is like yoga.
I am currently age 54 and in the menopausal phase, so exercise is very important. This is why I developed a passion for working out with women age 45 and older. In this menopausal phase of life, it is vital that we intentionally exercise for cardio, muscular and bone health. And proper nutrition is equally important.
New to exercise? No problem, I give options for different levels. Remember - “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great”.
